Information Materials for Foreign Residents and Visitors
An assortment of materials in Japanese and other languages include information useful for foreign residents and visitors. A useful English-language map of Sapporo for foreign residents can be purchased for 400 yen.
Reference Materials and Books
You can peruse reference materials, periodicals and foreign books on international exchanges and cooperation, as well as newspapers and magazines (The Japan Times, People's Daily, Japan-China News, The Chosun Ilbo, Komsomolskaya Prauda, Time). Photo albums of sister cities, brochures for studying abroad (U.S. and British schools), booklets with information on working holidays, and references on international cooperation (data on developing countries, NGOs and NPOs, etc.), volunteer activities, and the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs are also available.

Free internet browsing service available.
Youth Hostel Membership Registration
Youth Hostel Membership application and renewal services are available, except for credit card type. No reservation services for accommodation are available.
