Community Exchange
At SICPF, we promote creating an environment where both Japanese and foreign nationals can accept each other as neighbors in the local community, which is the living unit most familiar to citizens. Especially in times of disaster, friendship among neighbors is indispensable. We aim to realize a multicultural, symbiotic society by carrying out projects that inspire face-to-face relationships on a daily basis.
We also have regional exchange projects focusing on international students.
Since fiscal year 2018, we have been commissioned by the City of Sapporo to oversee designated managerial tasks at the "Sapporo International Student Center," and are engaging with local communities through beautification of local areas and disaster prevention drills.
