Communication Salon Reopened with Limited Operations

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Communication Salon had been closed since February 26 (Wed), but operations resumed on July 1 (Wed). However, prolonged use or use as a conversation space will not be allowed, as they increase the risk of infection. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding.
*The Sapporo Help Desk for Foreign Residents will continue to accept consultations by email, phone, and in person.

(Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and New Year’s Holidays)

Should you use the Communication Salon:
・If you have symptoms such as a fever or cough, please refrain from coming to the Salon.
・If you come to the Salon, wear a mask, disinfect your hands, and maintain distance between people.
・Do not stay or hold conversations longer than 30 minutes.
・No eating or drinking (with exception to drinks for hydration)
Communication Salon Infection Prevention Measures:
・Staff are wearing masks, and consultation windows have been outfitted with acrylic panels.
・Alcohol-based disinfectant has been placed at the entrance to the Salon.
・The windows of the Salon are periodically opened to circulate in fresh air.
・Surfaces are periodically cleaned with alcohol-based disinfectant.
※As the Let’s Talk Program involves conversation at a close distance, we are working on new methods to hold the program that will lower the risk of infection.
