Call for Volunteers! "SAPP‿RO FLOWER CARPET 2016"

 

We are looking to recruit a mass of community members as volunteers to create a flower carpet!

The completed flower carpet will be put on display Saturday, June 18th and Sunday, June 19th as an attraction for the entire community as well as sightseers of Sapporo.                                        

Family and friends are able to participate together. Please join us!

 

DATE and TIME:　Friday, June 17th, 10:00 - 16:00　 (Including 1 hour lunch break)

It is desirable that people participate throughout the whole day from

10:00 - 16:00, but you can participate only the half day, too.

                         In the possibility of stormy weather, it will be postponed to Saturday, June 18^th

 

VENUE:  Sapporo Kita Sanjo Hiroba (nicknamed Akapura)

(Kita 3 jo Nishi 4 chome. In front of Former Hokkaido Government Building, Akarenga)

 

ACTIVITY: Participants will do things like preparing the flower petals and other things to be used on the flower sketch design, and laying out the flower petals for the base of the drawn set-up design.

 

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Aged 4 years old or over. Children should participate under the consent and supervision of a guardian please.

Application Deadline:　Must be received by 5PM on Friday, May 27th, 2016                               

                           

TIPS & CONDITIONS:              

・On the day, we will gather at the location site, and then we will break up into units on site.

・The necessary items we will use for work will be provided by the management office.                          

・The transportation fee to and from the site is each participant's responsibility.                                        

・Please bring your own lunch or you can purchase something from the neighborhood restaurants or convenience stores.                            

・There will be drinks during our break time which will be provided by the management office.              

・Some useful things you might consider bringing…A hat to protect you from the sun, rainwear, a towel and/or handkerchief, waist pouch and/or knapsack or something to keep your things in.

・The information of the individual who registers is securely and strictly managed, and furthermore is used only for this event, and shall be completely discarded at the event's finish.
